Heads will roll in this special issue as we take a look back at The Legend of Sleepy Hollow! From a short story by author Washington Irving, the Headless Horseman has gone on to terrorize audiences on various platforms for over 100 years – and 2024 marks two landmark anniversaries! This issue puts focus on the 75th anniversary of Walt Disney’s The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad – as well as the 25th anniversary of Tim Burton’s Sleepy Hollow. We dive into the history of each film, the merchandise, and legacy. Additionally, this issue takes a look at the Haunting celebrations of Halloween around the country, as well as the traditions of decorating, trick or treating, and other holiday hijinks. A 15th anniversary look at HorrorHound Weekend is also included, as well as Toy News, Movie News, Comic Book, and Home Video featurettes. (HorrorHound)
